What will you do?
As a Junior iOS Developer you will build a highly scalable mobile application using Swift. You will cooperate closely with other developers, UI designers and solution architects. Together, you build mobile applications that are used to make the daily work for workers in factories safer, more enjoyable, and easier to use. Your own workplace will be partly at home and partly in the office in Utrecht (exact division of days to be discussed).
Additionally, as Junior iOS Developer you will be part of different (sub-)teams who constantly improve our development flows, CI/CD pipelines, quality assurance and strategy. This means you can focus on building and improving software solutions whilst growing and distinguishing yourself as a developer at the same time. How awesome is that!
Scope of work:
- Develop a mobile application using Swift
- Team up with Product Owners to understand detailed requirements, after which you own your code from Design, Implementation, Test Automation all the way to Delivery
- Software development using Agile software development methodology
- Design quality features taking future product and solution evolution into account
We ask:
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering
- 0-2 years of development experience with creating complex customer-facing web applications
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
- Knowledge of modern frameworks such as Swift
- Experience with ERDs like UML
- Experience with relational database management systems
- You put code quality and reusability first
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns and performance/scale considerations
- Eye for design, usability and cross-browser compatibility concerns
