What will you do?

As a Senior Android Developer you will have the opportunity to operate in a fast-paced environment, deepen your technical skills and build innovate features. With your expert knowledge on the latest and greatest in Kotlin (and Java) development (including its core fundamentals of course…), you can advise our Solution Architects on the best implementation possible. Through your technical expertise you ensure that we not only have beautiful code, but also make sure that our app runs smooth as butter.

Scope of work

• Build awesome new features using Kotlin on the Android platform
• Help migrate our existing codebase from Java to Kotlin
• Make sure that you and your Android colleagues deliver bulletproof code
• Collaborate with a team of highly motived Android, iOS, Web and QA engineers
• Spot opportunities for technical improvements in the Android application
• Coach junior developers on how to improve their technical skills

We ask

• 4+ years of development experience creating complex customer-facing Android applications
• Expert in Kotlin and Java programming (Android Development)
• Knowledge of Android Studio, REST API’s and Git is a must
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and Realm is a plus
• Experience with creating, packaging and releasing Android apps
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership in Android app development
• Available for at least 32 hours a week
