As Technical Manufacturing Consultant, you’ll get to work with the team in implementing the company's connected worker solution. This solution is based on industry standards and best practices (i.e., TPM), which means it supports most manufacturer’s way of working. You would work in high impact and challenging projects at large national and international organizations in the manufacturing industry. You will be based in our office in Utrecht or at the customer premises.
You’ll get to work in a project environment where the emphasis is on delivering value to customers. You get to work actively on implementing a platform with a focus on automating processes through the design of innovative platform applications. You design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform by following 4Industry best practices. Therefore, it is very important that you are both IT and Business oriented to connect both worlds.

Depending on the type of project, your main tasks/responsibilities are:
Translate functional requirements into technical designs. Always keeping a focus on platform performance, maintainability, and upgradability.
Together with your Architect colleagues, you ensure all processes and solutions are within the requirements and guidelines.
Arrange, design, and set up the platform according to our standards.
Use your knowledge of the platform to come up with a solution.
Delivery of current services for our customers as enhancing our internal service delivery competencies and capabilities.
Build solution designs which always follow implementation best practices of ServiceNow and internal 4Industry implementation guidelines.
A bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or Information Technology.
1-3 years of experience with ServiceNow is a must.
A strong affinity with manufacturing is a must.
1-3 years of experience with configuration, development, and implementation of a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) technology.
Experience with client & server scripting.
Web service expertise (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge.
Fluency in the English. Dutch language is a plus.
Good communication skills and result-oriented.
