The AFM has an ambitious IT strategy, aimed at strengthening the foundation, enhancing the ability to change and increasing the absorption capacity. This strategy includes phasing out legacy and migrating to the Cloud for core systems such as CRM and SharePoint. A new structure will be introduced in 2025, with teams focusing on supervision and business operations. This vacancy offers the opportunity to play an important role in the further digitalization of the organization in a multidisciplinary team within the Information Management (IM) department. Various Microsoft-based applications are managed within IM, with the transition to the Cloud in 2025 being an important aspect.
As a portfolio administrator at the AFM, you are responsible for the management and optimization of the IT change portfolio. You play an important role in the portfolio management process, in which you identify projects and programs and place them in the portfolio according to the guidelines and standards that are used to translate the strategic goals into concrete actions. In addition, you closely monitor the progress of the projects and programs and facilitate the integral coordination of dependencies, coherence, risks, and their mitigation.
In this role, you will work closely with various teams on portfolio management. You will hold regular meetings where you will record and circulate decisions and actions. This can range from portfolio board meetings where priorities are determined to direct interaction with suppliers. With a careful and results-oriented attitude, you will contribute to the preparation of detailed reports on progress and performance, using KPIs and other metrics to measure the effectiveness of progress.
In addition, budget and resource planning are also an important part of your responsibilities. In line with the priorities, you allocate resources to projects and programs, monitor the portfolio budget, and the realization of costs. You also actively contribute to the further development of portfolio management and ensure that the chosen best practices and standards within project, program, and portfolio management are adhered to. You continuously monitor the progress, quality, costs, and risks of the portfolio and take timely action to correct any deviations. In this way, you contribute to the successful realization of the AFM's strategic goals in the field of IT.
In this role, you will be part of the Framework Team within the IM department and will work closely with strategic information managers and architects. Together, you will work on realizing the AFM's ambitious IT strategy, contributing to strengthening the foundation, enhancing the ability to change, and increasing the absorption capacity.

- A gross annual salary of at least €44,000 and a maximum of €72,000 based on a 36-hour workweek (including 13th month and holiday pay). The final classification depends on your knowledge and experience

What is required?
- HBO work and thinking level
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the role of portfolio administrator or similar roles (preferably in an agile working environment)
- Good command of various PMO tools
- Knowledge of portfolio management frameworks and portfolio and project management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written
- You have a careful and results-oriented attitude
