Description
As an Azure Data Engineer you'd be responsible for opening up, structuring and preparing data. You process data in the Managed Data Platform (MDP), which consists of various databases for domains such as insurance, pensions and investment institutions. You set up these (relational) databases, ensure that they function properly within the infrastructure and make them ‘ready for use ’.
In addition, as a technical consultant you try to increase the data quality within the MDP, which you can only realize if you know the content and meaning of the data. In addition, there is privacy-sensitive data from internal and external parties, so you take security aspects into account.
You also carry out DataOps and DevOps activities, with the aim of rolling out changes in an automated manner as quickly and easily as possible. You mainly work with Microsoft Azure tools and also program in SQL, C# and Powershell.
You are part of the Data-driven Supervision program (approximately 30 colleagues), which consists of a Data Insights team (data analysts + data scientists) and a platform team. You are part of the latter, together with data management specialists, data engineers, data infrastructure specialists, a solution architect and a security manager.
